Every gift becomes something real: a school year for a child, a bag of food, clean water.
Sponsor a child
For €100 a year you become a child’s sponsor and cover all their school needs for the whole year, so that a child can go to school lacking nothing.

Our vision is to create hubs of creativity and small businesses that will strengthen household income and offer people real opportunities, useful in their daily lives.
Many people have already enrolled and, as soon as we complete the purchase of the sewing machines, the school will open its doors to welcome its first students.
We believe that learning a craft can create new opportunities, foster creative initiatives and give rise to small productive activities that support families and strengthen people’s economic independence.
Our aim is for knowledge to become creation, creation to become work, and work a real opportunity for a better life.

“Panagia Soumela” Mission Centre: a vision for Pontic Hellenism

Around the church we plan to build a conference centre, a school and other supporting facilities, so that the site becomes a place of faith, learning, culture and encounter.
Our aim is to make the martyred Pontic Hellenism known beyond the borders of Greece: its history, its uprooting, its traditions, language and customs, and the richness it can bring to the culture of the region.
A vision that unites faith with historical memory and culture, keeping the Pontic heritage alive and passing it on to the next generations. Read the message.

A second “Samaria” school
Another great vision that has become reality is the “Samaria” Schools, which include a kindergarten, a primary school and a lower secondary school. It is a pioneering educational effort for the region: beyond the official state curriculum, pupils will be able to take lessons in agriculture, learning how the land is cultivated, how farm produce is grown and how to use modern farming practices.
